Caroline Mortimer is the star of a cooking television show. Every week, two million viewers watch her, her books sell in staggering numbers, and her life is perfect—she has a loving husband, a wonderful son who just graduated with honors, and a beautiful estate. However, one June evening, a storm looms over Caroline's home and life. Because when the lights go out and the cameras stop recording, an uncomfortable truth emerges, and the perfect life turns out to be merely a facade, an illusion.
